About
Bigstone Cree Nation is comprised of three communities. Calling Lake, Chipewyan Lake, and Wabasca. Bigstone was signed into the “Treaty 8” agreement in 1899 and was provided with funds along with reserve lands to govern for growth of its membership. Bigstone Cree Nation is considered to be a Woodland Cree People and includes five reserves.
